Product introduction
       TINUVIN 292 is a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer specially developed for coatings. It is a mixture of two active ingredients. It is a clear and transparent liquid rather than a molten solid like pure diester. Even at room temperature TINUVIN 292 can provide long-term protection for coatings such as cracking, tarnishing, etc.

  Scope of application
     
TINUVIN 292 can be well dissolved in the aqueous system by a small amount of co-solvent, such as butyl carbitol (diethylene glycol monobutyl ether)
Recommended for:

Non-acid catalyzed automotive paint
industrial paint
Wood paint or DIY paint
Light-curing coatings (does not affect light-curing speed)

Widely used in the following systems:

Water-based and oil-based polyurethane systems
Room temperature dry acrylic system
Thermoset acrylic, alkyd, polyester systems
Air-drying alkyd system
Waterborne Acrylic System
Phenolic resin, vinyl resin system
light curing system

TINUVIN 292 works synergistically with light absorbers to protect the gloss of coatings and prevent cracking, delamination and discoloration. Light stabilizers can be added to the primer and finish coat of automotive coatings, however, as a rule of thumb, light stabilizers are added to the middle coat to achieve the best results. Caution is required in acid catalyzed coatings.
