Tinuvin 770DF is a hindered amine light stabilizer, its efficacy is better than UV light stabilizers and nickel-containing stabilizers, especially suitable for plastics requiring good light stability such as polypropylene, high density polyethylene hydrocarbon, EPDM, Polystyrene, HIPS, ABS, SAN, ASA, and Polyurethane. Tinuvin 770DF is also effective for polyamides and polyacetals.

Purpose
Contrary to UV absorbers, the efficacy of Tinuvin 770DF is not affected by the thickness of the plastic, so it is especially suitable for applications such as webbing and films. Tinuvin 770DF also provides high light stability on thick plastics.
Instructions
Tinuvin 770DF can be added to the polymer in the usual way. Tinuvin 770DF is thermally stable and does not affect the color of the polymer due to its non-absorption in the visible spectrum. Tinuvin 770DF can be used together with UV absorber series, such as Tinuvin P, Tinuvin 327, Chimassorb 81, etc., to produce a synergistic effect and provide good light stability for plastics.
To achieve the highest efficacy of Tinuvin 770DF, sufficient plastic stabilization is required to prevent damage to the plastic caused by thermal oxygen degradation. Sulfur-containing stabilizers such as thiodipropionate, sulfur-containing phenolic antioxidants can affect the effect of Tinuvin 770DF. If the finished product requires extremely high light stability, the influence of the pigment is also very important, and it is recommended to conduct a small test first.
