Product introduction
PolyFox PF-159, a new environmentally friendly, 100% active ingredient water-soluble nonionic fluorosurfactant based on OMNOVA Solutions' unique technology platform. It can be used in water/solvent/100% solids coatings and inks to improve leveling, surface appearance and coating and ink performance. If properly formulated, PolyFox fluorosurfactants can be used to replace telomer-based and other conventional fluorosurfactants. Compared to traditional fluorosurfactant technologies, PolyFox fluorosurfactants greatly reduce foam generation, destabilize foam, and reduce air trapping and entrainment, which is of particular interest to the ink industry.
Main features and efficacy
· Excellent water solubility, suitable for crystal clear water-based systems.
· Does not cause foaming, especially for paint industry.
· 100% solids, no VOC, no water, no solvent.
· The diol structure is suitable for water-based, solvent-based or 100% solid formulations.
High efficiency, the addition amount for most applications does not exceed 1%.
· Safe, no environmental health and safety risks.

Application recommendation
PolyFox PF-159 can be added directly to waterborne, solventborne, or 100% solids coatings with agitation. Typical applications can range from 0.05% to 1%, but fluorochemical systems tend to vary in concentration for each system. The difference is large and it is difficult to generalize. A range of concentrations should be tested in the screening test phase. The best performance is often based on a specific concentration, adding more or less will affect the final effect. The amount of addition usually required to improve the surface effect Slightly higher.
