NMP is easy to store and transport due to its low vapor pressure and high flash point (95°C). However, it has strong hygroscopicity, and the NMP solution that dissolves pesticides has strong permeability to the skin, so care should be taken when using it.

The solubility parameter of NMP for most resins is about 11. Since the solubility is very similar, the compatibility is very good.
