Synthesis Tips
- A packed fractionation column is required due to water solubility.
- Melt the contents of the CHDM vessel and stir before taking the sample to ensure a homogeneous mixture of isomers.
- Due to good thermal stability, light-colored resin can be obtained even if the synthesis temperature is 230℃~240℃.
- Two primary hydroxyl groups provide good reactivity and moderate synthesis time.
- Does not require an esterification catalyst, but can also be used.
