Solubility / dilution
Generally, this product has good compatibility with organic solvents such as esters, ether esters, xylene and solvent naphtha 100. However, solubility and compatibility must be checked each time. Polyurethane grade solvents (less than 0.05% water content) should be used.
Features/Applications
Because Bayhydur® XP 2547 is hydrophilic, it is easy to emulsify in the water phase, and it is mainly used as a cross-linking agent for water-based hydroxy polyol binders (Bayhydrol®). Bayhydur® XP 2547 can also be added to conventional hydroxyl-free dispersions to improve all aspects of their properties.
store
This product is moisture sensitive. This product has a shelf life of at least 6 months when properly stored in an airtight container not exceeding 30°C. Viscosity may increase slightly over time.
Safety: Hazard Identification
Contains isocyanates, skin contact may cause allergic reactions. Product Safety Data Sheet (492659) should be strictly followed. It includes information on labelling, transportation and storage, as well as information on product use, product safety and ecology.
