Note that NDI is very sensitive to moisture. Because all diisocyanates can react with water to form insoluble urea derivatives. NDI should be stored tightly closed in cool and dry conditions. After use, it should be sealed immediately to avoid failure. Under suitable external conditions, the product is valid for 6 months. |

Operational safety measures
INV NDI is pure 1,5-naphthalene diisocyanate (NDI), which is a fine, white or pale yellow to off-white irregular flaky crystal. At room temperature, the vapor pressure is below 10-4 mbar. The Federal Republic of Germany stipulates: In the working environment, the NDI content should be less than 0.02ppm (0.18mg/m3) (even if it exceeds the standard for a short time, it is not allowed). Due to the special reactivity, NDI is identified as a dangerous substance and must be handled with care.
The potential hazard of NDI is the formation of dust, vapors and fumes during use.
Operators may be exposed to NDI in the following situations: ① Dust wafted out during weighing or feeding. ②When NDI prepolymer is prepared or poured, steam or smoke generated by excess NDI (smoke will be generated when hot NDI steam condenses).
