Recommended dosage
Calculated according to the original material and inorganic pigments: 5-30%
Calculated on the basis of original materials and organic pigments: 20-70%
Calculated according to the original carbon black: 40-150%
Recommended dosage for co-grinding: 0.5-2.0%
Instructions for use
Add grinding before dispersing
Recipe suggestion
1. The addition of rheology modifiers (such as fumed silica) to inorganic pigment pastes has been shown to be beneficial
2. When producing carbon black paste, it is usually effective to add a small amount of amine (0.2-3.0%) to neutralize the partially acidic pigment surface
3. In case air bubbles are generated during pigment dispersion, use highly efficient but also compatible defoamer concentrates such as (TEGO® Foamex 8050, TEGO® Foamex 810, TEGO® Foamex 830)
4. The starting formula for making color paste is available upon request.
