product description
TAKENATE 500 is an aromatic ring-containing aliphatic diisocyanate with some unique properties.
The polyurethane in TAKENATE 500 has better resistance to yellowing than the polyurethane in aromatic diisocyanates such as TDI and MDI. TAKENATE 500 is also more reactive than other aliphatic diisocyanates such as HDI and IPDI.

Features
Excellent weather resistance, color stability and adhesion
Although it is an aliphatic polyisocyanate, it cures faster than TDI-based aromatic polyisocyanates
It is polymerized with polyols, castor oil, and other resins containing hydroxyl groups, and can be used as one- or two-component polyurethane resins, coatings, adhesives and sealants.
