Features/Applications
Metal primers prepared with Bayhydrol® UH 650 can be mixed with two-component polyurethane clearcoats for two-coat systems and are characterized by strong adhesion to a wide variety of plastic surfaces, good recoatability and water repellency. Metal primers can be sprayed with a two-pack polyurethane clearcoat after a pre-drying treatment of 5 minutes at 80°C or 15 minutes at room temperature. The minimum temperature for forced drying is 60°C. Bayhydrol® UH 650 is compatible with waterborne polyester and certain acrylic dispersions. Due to the wide variety of resins to choose from, compatibility testing is recommended.
cleaning
Preparation and application equipment can be cleaned with water, alkaline cleaners or isopropyl alcohol.
store
- Store in original seal
- Recommended storage temperature: 5-30℃
- Avoid frost, heat and foreign substances
General Information: Since slight precipitation may occur during storage, please homogenize the product well before handling, eg: stir well. The container must be kept sealed to prevent vapor evaporation and the resulting film cannot be redispersed. This product is more sensitive to frost. Long-term freezing can cause permanent damage to the product. Long-term storage at high temperatures may result in a decrease in viscosity or an increase in average particle size, as well as precipitation or coagulation. Contamination with certain bacteria, fungi or algae may render the product unusable.
storage time
Provided that the product has been stored in full compliance with the requirements in the "Storage" clause above and handled properly, the product meets the specifications stated in the "Specifications or Characteristic Values" clause above for a period of 6 months from the date of shipment stated on the shipping document or characteristic value (as applicable). The fact that a product exceeds the 6-month period above does not mean that it no longer meets the specifications or the values set in the characteristic values. However, manufacturers recommend that products older than 6 months from the date of shipment be tested prior to use to confirm that they still meet the specifications or values set in the characteristic values. The manufacturer makes no commitments for products older than 6 months from the date of shipment, and does not assume any responsibility or liability for non-conformance to specifications or set values in characteristic values.
