Features/Applications
Metal primers prepared with Bayhydrol® UH 650 can be mixed with two-component polyurethane clearcoats for two-coat systems and are characterized by strong adhesion to a wide variety of plastic surfaces, good recoatability and water repellency. Metal primers can be sprayed with a two-pack polyurethane clearcoat after a pre-drying treatment of 5 minutes at 80°C or 15 minutes at room temperature. The minimum temperature for forced drying is 60°C. Bayhydrol® UH 650 is compatible with waterborne polyester and certain acrylic dispersions. Due to the wide variety of resins to choose from, compatibility testing is recommended.

However, manufacturers recommend that products older than 6 months from the date of shipment be tested prior to use to confirm that they still meet the specifications or values ​​set in the characteristic values.
