Product introduction
1,4-CHDA is a cycloaliphatic dibasic acid that brings many unique properties to polyester resins for coatings and glass fiber reinforced plastics. Its symmetrical structure, 1,4 substituents, cycloaliphatic ring structure and other characteristics make it very suitable as a high-performance coating for: automotive, transportation, industrial maintenance, aerospace, construction, equipment and general metals and gel coat coatings.

Main Features①Excellent thermal stability, synthetic light-colored resin;
②It has very high solubility in the molten diol, and the esterification reaction is fast and the reaction time is shortened;
③ It has better hydrolytic stability than other aromatic acids or linear fatty acids when synthesizing water-based polyester resins;
④The product has excellent hardness and elasticity;
⑤ Compared with linear fatty acids, it improves corrosion resistance, stain resistance, chemical resistance and self-cleaning properties;
⑥Compared with aromatic acid, the synthetic unsaturated resin for gel coat has better gloss retention and anti-yellowing;
⑦Reduce "orange peel" in powder coatings
Remark
1,4-CHDA is a mixture of cis and trans isomers. Supplied as white or off-white powder in bags of various sizes.
