Applications
T1890/100 must be dispersed in an inert medium for storage, and the solvent must be PU grade (water content less than 0.05%), and the mixture must be stirred at high temperature for some time (if the stirring is insufficient, it will cause the molecules to expand or become hard and is not stable in storage).
Ideal combination of T1890 and HDI-PI
The product has a cycloaliphatic framework structure and a cis-trans isomer configuration, which controls its crystallization and improves compatibility and solubility. In the composition, more than 60% of the 3-ring structure is formed by 3 IPDI molecules, and the rest consists of 5 to 7. This product is not just another HDI-PI, but a completely different chemical that cannot be replaced by N-75 and N-3390. A combination of them will give better results. Users can continue to use their existing recipes. Just partially replace N-75 or N-3390 with this product, with one caveat: the amount of catalyst must be increased. The corrosion resistance of the product itself is comparable to that of N-3390 and better than that of N-75. And it doesn't turn yellow at all. The product can also increase the critical temperature for coating application on glass by 5–10°C. And these are mainly dependent on its anti-corrosion stability. The application of anti-etching has also been continuously improved.
