CAPA® Polycaprolactone Polyol
CAPA® polyols are polyester polyols suitable for use in polyurethane elastomers and coating systems. Products produced with CAPA® have excellent physical properties, exceptional hydrolysis resistance and low temperature flexibility. Advantages such as consistent reactivity, low viscosity, high purity and ease of processing are even more apparent when using CAPA® for polyurethane production.
Premium Specifications:
We can enhance the physical properties of standard CAPA® as follows:
A- Indicates enhanced stability against hydrolysis
D- Indicates reduced haze, low viscosity.
P- means low viscosity and improved reactivity.
Our commercialized premium grades of CAPA® are listed in the table below.
Copolymers: We can also produce block copolymers such as caprolactone and other OH terminal polyols such as polyethers to copolymerize to achieve dual physical properties. Our current copolymers of CAPA and PTMEG are commercialized and specially designed to produce high-grade microfoamed products.
Carboxyl group-containing polyols: These are newly developed polyols that are supplied to customers for the production of water-based polyurethanes, such as water-based adhesives. And the initiator DMPA polyol has a carboxyl group, so it can enhance the dispersibility of the resin in water.
