Product introduction
Dispercoll® U58 is an aqueous dispersion of anionically modified polyurethane. It is an adhesive raw material to formulate adhesive formulations for use in the footwear, furniture or automotive industries.
Its characteristic polymer properties make Dispercoll® U58 particularly suitable for heat activated adhesive applications with high viscosity and good initial thermal resistance.

Features/Applications
Dispercoll® U58 has excellent bonding properties on most synthetic and natural materials. Adding 3-5% (weight ratio) of water-emulsifiable cross-linkable isocyanates from the Desmodur® product line can improve the heat resistance, plasticizer resistance, grease and oil resistance of the adhesive bond. The isocyanate crosslinker is added immediately prior to application and mixing reinforcement. Pay attention to the potable time of the mixed adhesive. In order to expand the technical performance of special application fields or customized products, resin dispersions, emulsifiers, thickeners, etc. can also be added. Before use, especially before spraying, the formulated adhesive product must be filtered to remove polymer particles that may have formed in the adhesive during initial drying.
The recommended temperature for Dispercoll® U58 heat activated bonding applications is 50-70°C to ensure that the dry bondline is fully activated. The actual demand for a specific application is determined by the amount of pressure, the pressure time and the substrate to be bonded
store
- Store in original airtight container.
- Recommended storage temperature: 15-25℃.
- Avoid higher temperatures above 30°C.
- Avoid direct sunlight, freezing, heat and foreign substances.
General Information: This product is very sensitive to low temperatures below +10°C, and low temperatures below +10°C will cause irreversible damage to the product. Avoid higher temperatures above 30°C. Prolonged storage at high temperatures may affect product performance. The container must be kept sealed and protected from direct sunlight, otherwise evaporation of moisture will result in the formation of a non-dispersible polymer film.
storage time
Provided that the product has been stored in full compliance with the requirements in the "Storage" clause above and handled properly, the product meets the specifications stated in the "Specifications or Characteristic Values" clause above for a period of 6 months from the date of shipment stated on the shipping document or characteristic value (as applicable). The fact that a product exceeds the 6-month period above does not mean that it no longer meets the specifications or the values set in the characteristic values. However, it is recommended that products older than 6 months from the date of shipment be tested prior to use to confirm that they still meet the values set in the specifications or characteristic values. The manufacturer makes no commitments for products older than 6 months from the date of shipment, and does not assume any responsibility or liability for non-conformance to specifications or set values in characteristic values.
