Application:
T-5000 is a reactive chain extender for polyurethane with typical primary amine reaction properties. Widely used in the polyurethane RIM industry, it is the main raw material for spraying polyurea elastomers; because of its unique chemical structure, T-5000 plays a toughening role in the epoxy industry; together with polyamide, it is used in high Epoxy adhesive characterized by strength; provides surface corrosion protection in both epoxy-urethane systems.
Safety performance and toxicity:
T-5000 amino-terminated polyether is slightly toxic for oral administration; it is non-toxic for skin absorption, but it is weakly irritating to the skin; it is highly irritating to the eyes; when loading and unloading T-5000, use a protective cover to cover the face. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, immediately wash with water for at least 5 minutes, and make necessary medical observation, and apply soap and water to the skin.
Packaging and storage:
T-5000 is usually packaged in a 200Kg iron drum, protected from light, protected from heat and moisture, and has a shelf life of one year.
